The Highland Inn was built in the 1920s, so it has the character of being a big old building. Which also means it has no elevator, and the rooms open with an actual key. I find both of those more adventurous than tedious, but not all travelers would find it as exciting as we do. But we've both backpacked across Europe, so to find yourself in a warm bed with amenities is a delight after sleeping outside of train stations and even once in a public restroom. (It was in Switzerland where everything is spanking clean, so don't freak out too much).
Andrew enjoying one of Sweetwater's offerings. Besides my normal IPA, I fell for their Sweetwater Blue, a blueberry infused beer. You could serious have it with brunch. |
We're kind of old fashioned, so we bought an actual, paper map to guide us around the city. |
I'm a list person. Sometimes I make spacial-and-somewhat-disproportional-to-do lists. |
I like the little icons on your list. Very handy for quick reference. :)
